This Winter weather calls for some cosy nights in. And what's cosier than lighting a couple of scented candles and sitting in a chair covered with a warm blanket?
And you know what? That's exactly what I did.

I grabbed my latest Woodwick candle and took some time for relaxation. :)
Because candles go well with some tarot reading, I did that too. I'm a newbie so I have a really tiny altar, but the candle looks so pretty on it!
The Woodwick candles are special because they have a wood wick. It's shaped like an X and when it burns it sounds exactly like a big fire going off. It's a soft crackle and it's pretty soothing for my ears. It takes me to a deeply relaxing state.

The candle has a beautiful pink colour and has a complex scent, mixing a sun-drenched bouquet of cucumber and pink quartz with violet leaf and lemon blossom. The complex aroma is presented beautifully in a distinctive shape of the candle holder which is an hourglass shape.
I picked the Woodwick Melon & Pink Quartz because of the pretty name and well because it's a shade of pink and I love pink things. But what surprised me is the scent. It smells a bit like summer and that was somehow a surprise for me. But a pleasant surprise!

I had another Woodwick candle and liked it a lot! That one was a tiny version, but the newest one is a bigger addition to my collection. And I must say that I prefer the bigger versions. It's very elegant!
For best results it is recommended to burn the candle for 3-4 hours per use and trim the wick before each use by gently breaking off burned edges.
It's very simple - it's a soothing candle that helps me relax and the scent is lovely. Because of that, I can't wait to get some other scents. Maybe even something more classic like vanilla, maybe?
