Last time I talked about the blue beauty - Sugar Fix from Sally Hansen and I've added some extra info on how long it lasted on my nails. Spoiler alert: 7!
And today I'm here to tell you all about its sister (from the Summer box) which is Creme De La Creme.
Sally Hansen Gel Creme De La Creme
Creme De La Creme is a really pretty off-white nail polish. It's less fussy than Essie Fiji and with a tad shorter drying time (if used without a base coat). It's also less pink than Essie Fiji and also less chalky.
I needed 3 layers to get to full opacity, but the next day I added a 4th one as I got some bubbles overnight that got dirty in the morning. I know -what?
The bottle is functional with a flat rounded brush. With it, it's easy to apply the polish but there needs to be some care while applying it as the polish starts to run in huge drops once out of the bottle.
But that's something that's easy to solve - just wipe a bit of polish on the bottle edge.
For me this is the perfect bridal nail polish, it is also very similar to Catrice Nice Cream (discontinued) but it has a nicer formula than Catrice's.
Creme De La Creme - A very light tone pinky/white
Last time I wore it (which was the first time for me) I had it on for 5 days before I just couldn't look at it anymore. It didn't chip but it cracked. And on a light polish that wasn't a pretty view.
From far away it looked nice, polished and clean. But up lose it was a different story. But since I get cracks in light colors even with plain old gelish, this is something I can live with.
- Can be Applied in two simple steps, first step is to apply the gel manicure polish, once the gel polish has been applied next step is to apply the top coat to give it a long lasting finish with a beautiful shine.
- No UV/LED Light is needed for this polish.
- Miracle Gel Polish gives you up to 14 days of color and shine.
- Can easily be removed like regular nail polish - so no soaking or scraping needed.
