Here and there I like to join the Jolse's search for reviewers of new products they decided to include on their site. This time I barely remember entering the giveaway/promotion for this HARUHARU cream. I completely forgot about it until I got the parcel at my home address.
If you're curious about my previous post for them, you can find it here - TI'AM One Second Whitening Cream.
Since I only had this cream for about two weeks, I can't really talk about the long-term effects of it on my skin. But what I can talk about are the first impressions.
HARUHARU Wonder Berry Anti-Oxidant Cream
Niacinamide, adenosine-contained brightening,anti-wrinkle functional cosmeticWonder signature scent from nature derived ingredients presents instant healing on exhausted skin. This product pursues natural ingredients solely.
THE PACKAGING
The design of the packaging is a fun one. The cream comes in a cardboard box that has the design of the cream on it. I am really digging it.
Once you open it, you find out that it looks exactly like one of those coffee/tea travel mugs. It's a bit quirky but I like it.
With it, you get a small spatula which makes it easier to pick the cream up.
There's a double lid which has a small tab that is pretty hard to pull at first. But with time it gets easier to do so.
Once you use up the cream (and there are 90ml of the products inside - that should last you for at least 6 months of daily use), you can remove the inner parts and use the outer cup for plants, as a pencil holder or storage space. It's a cute idea.
THE CREAM
The cream is a thick light peach cream that is heavily scented. The cream has supposedly only natural ingredients (whatever that means) and is packaged full of antioxidants.
The scent is so strong that after I could still smell if 10 minutes after application. I was wondering what's that scent (which is lovely) and couldn't understand it. But then I realized that it is the cream.
The cream spreads easily (it has to be the silicones inside) and sinks quickly. After application, it leaves my skin feeling moisturized and glowy.
But because it's so packed of whatever the scent is (it has to be lemon something) it is definitely not for sensitive skin. I don't have sensitive skin but I get a slight burning sensation around my lips. I have to wash it off immediately if I get it on my lips. It's that irritating.
THE NEXT MORNING
My skin feels nice. Soft, supple and hydrated. But I don't want to be using it as a daily cream because it's too perfumed for that.
I usually have a bit of a problem with silicones in creams, but for now, I only got one small acne. I will see what will happen after a longer period of use.

+ You get a lot of cream (90g)
+ The cream sinks right into your skin
+ the scent is pleasant
+ moisturizes effectively
- Pricey ($29 cca $3,10 per gram)
- the scent (even if lovely) lingers after application and is pretty heavy
- it's irritating (on my cupid's bow)
- contains allergenic ingredients (non EU approved)
- Isn't for those who suffer from fungal acne
This is a highly moisturizing cream that delivers when it comes to hydration. But it does contain lots of natural ingredients that are highly irritating. It is also very perfumed and the scent lingers for a long time. I didn't have enough time to thoughtfully test it but I can say that I do feel there are better, less expensive hydrating creams out there. Especially the ones without so much fragrance in it.
Are you more a natural creams sort of gal/guy or not?
*I received the products from the PR of the company. My opinions are always honest.
