NEW photos!

Hi!

It's been a while since I took some photos, and even longer since I had a photoshoot with a model. But yesterday that happened again! :D

We went to the gorgeous (tiny) forest in Mostec.

And this is what we came up with... :)

5 Drawings

It's been a while since I posted my drawings. And I feel that now it's the perfect time to do it again.

These have been drawn a while ago (month +), but I never showed them. So here they are!
They have a deeper meaning for me.. :)

Enjoy! =)

NOTD: Zoya Rica

Hi everyone!

The first moment I laid my eyes on this beauty, I knew I had to at least try it out. And so I did..  My sister got this in a swap and I got the chance to try it out too!

I used two thicker coats, and the application was flawless. Sadly it's not super opaque so you have to use thicker coats or just more of them (3 thin).

That's why it took a looooong time to dry - and I managed to bump my nails several times. Bleh :(. The drying time is a bit of a down side, since I was expecting it to be dry in no time!

And because the polish is so beautiful I couldn't decide which picture to chose....  That's why here's a bunch of them =D!

Isn't she a beauty?

NOTD: Deborah ST 17 + Opi Black Shatter

Hi cupcakes! =D

I got the chance to try the Opi Black Shatter and since I was doubting if the effect would be pretty - I applied it only on my ring nails.

One super thin coat and this is the result I got.

Sadly it didn't come so pretty on my other hand - it seems I applied a thicker coat so it's almost all black :(. But lesson learned! And at least it dries quickly ^^!

Beauty Angel Gold Palette - Pink Blush

Hi :D!

You probably remember this palette from my last tutorial

Today I'm going to show you how does the darker blush look on my skin. Next time I'll show you how does the orange-ish blush look like on my skin :).

Anyway the blush is really easy to apply and you only need a tiny bit for full opacity! And the best part? It lasts all day! ^^

I use it whenever I'm in a hurry since I already know I only need one swipe of it on the brush and I'm pretty much done!

NOTD: Deborah Shine Tech N.17

Hi =)!

I got this nail polish a really long time ago, but I never used it alone. It's a bit on the watery side so it needs three coats to be (almost) fully opaque. But the good side? It dries quickly!

I thought it would take me a long time before it dries, but luckily that wasn't so. Except that I managed to bump myself while having a fresh manicure - that's why there's a pattern on my ring finger.

I didn't use any top coat since my Opi Rapid dry is getting thicker (and I'm only on 1/2 of the bottle).

I absolutely love the fact that it goes from cold purple to warm purple, depending on how the lights reflects on the nail. It must be because of the tiny golden shimmer.

EOTD: Sleepless night

The post title is funny, since I did this MU during the day when I went to a presentation (of Energetic Medicine).

I wanted to use Fyrinnae Pyromantic Erotica and my regular UD Naked Palette. I didn't use much of my imagination but at least I used some colors. I mean, with brown and brown it slowly gets boring..

Lets try to ignore the mascara under the eye.. At that point I decided that I am going with the 'junkie' look. :P

Swatch: Illamasqua Belladonna Intense Lip Gloss

Hi dolls,

I wanted to show you how beautiful (yet wearable) is the new intense lip gloss from Illamasqua (Theatre Nameless).

Come out of the shadows with high-shine, colour-rich Illamasqua Intense Lipgloss in a wide range of bold colours. Create lips that look full and glossy, without feeling sticky. Draw attention to your lips, and to you.

You've all probably seen the sleek tube of Illamasqua's glosses. They are really pretty and elegant ;).

Nude lips

The gloss has a thicker consistency and is very opaque. There's no need to worry about the application since it's flawless - it goes on smoothly.  One coat does it all, which is perfect!

But because of the stickiness it lasts a very loooong time! =) It survives drinking and eating, tho it still needs some touch ups after that.

I was expecting it to be very out of the ordinary and very unwearable. But luckily it's great for a night out :).

NOTD: Illamasqua Taint (Stone Brown)

Hi everyone!

I wanted to show you the nail polish I got from Illamasqua. It's been a couple of days and it's still chip-free! Which is kind of incredible, since it has a satin finish (they call it rubber finish).

Illamasqua Taint, 1 layer, fresh application

Dry

Luckily this nail polish dries very quicky! Plus there's another thing I wanted to talk about...  The cap. It is rubberized so it doesn't slip. Plus the brush is softer, but is still dense which means when you finish your 1st layer of nail polish, another drop of nail polish comes down the brush and you can finish your job! I mean that's just fantastic!

Illamasqua Taint 2 coats, no top coat

I must say that at first I wasn't all that impressed with this nail polish, but then I realized that the more I wear I the more I like it :).

Illamasqua Theatre Nameless Mail!

I thought I'd never get mail from Illamasqua, but hey I was so wrong!
When I got home the postman handled me a black envelope, oh wow I was surpised! :).

Anyway let me show you the goodies I got. =)
It was a very nice surprise!

Expect more pictures soon...!

Do you have (or would you like to have) anything from the new collection?

Review: EOS Big Crystal Violet (G-307)

It's been a while since I wore circle lenses. I mean, I love them but they're not the most natural looking lenses - especially when you're used wearing clear lenses. I mean yes - they make your eyes look huge and give them a little bit of something more, but on green eyes, it's a hit or miss situation.

But since I got a new sponsor for circle lenses -

I got the EOS Big Crystal Violet lenses - which are quite big, but not extraordinary big (14.5mm).

POWER/PRESCRIPTION: -0.00 to -10.00

LENS USAGE: UP TO 1 YEAR
SHELF LIFE: 3 YEARS
MANUFACTURER / ORIGIN: SOUTH KOREA
B.C.: 8.8mm
DIAMETER: 14.50mm
WATER CONTENT: 38%

Left eye: with circle lenses; right eye: without

Both in + make up :)

I thought the lenses would be really uncomfortable but luckily that wasn't so.

*scared face* =)

Enlargement: 7/10
These lenses do enlarge my eyes a tiny bit, but nothing too drastic. I love the fact that they don't have a big old fat black ring around. They are quite subtle (tho not in my eyes).

Color/Design: 7/10
I was hoping they'd be more opaque on my eyes, but green vs purple isn't the best combination ever. But after all, they give an interesting effect on my eyes. The design is very pretty.

Comfort: 8/10
They are comfortable, but once I turned one lens inside out and it hurt my eye. After that my eye was irritated and when I put the lens in correctly it still hurt for 5 minutes. Which means you have to be careful. They feel rougher than my regular lenses (when turned inside out by mistake).

Overall:
I do like them, but they aren't really natural looking (which is what I'm searching for when it comes to circle lenses). But after all they do blend in quite nicely, also they have a pretty design.
